Over twenty years ago I worked at this location shucking oysters. I hoped
(maybe dreamed) that someday I would own my own restaurant. After twenty-eight years of doing every possible job
in a restaurant and attending the Western Culinary Institute in Portland from 1985-1986, I find myself back in
the location where my dream began.
I opened Dolan's to provide exciting food, great service, and a comfortable atmosphere. Over the years, I have developed
a passion for food and wine. Our chefs create weekly specials that we hope will excite your tastebuds, using the highest
quality and freshest foods available. Our wine list is intended to let you explore different wines by the glass, or find
a nice bottle to enhance your meal. We have been honored to be a Wine Spectator Award
of Excellence Winner (1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, and 2001). In 1998,1999, 2000, and 2001 we also received
a series of Best of Boulder awards!
If you have experienced Dolan's before, I would like to thank you for your support and patronage. If this is your first
visit, please ask for me. I would like to introduce myself, and do all that I can to make your dining experience a pleasant
